mi-u is a New York based architectural design studio. We create residences, workplaces and environment for culture in multiple scales.
mi-u is founded by Jooyei Lee, RA. Before mi-u, she collaborated with globally recognized firms such as SO-IL and REX. While at SO-IL, she led a several high-profile projects; CTF Museum with a facade made with 30ft tall glass tubes & a 10,000 sf plaza with elevated garden in Hong Kong, an art gallery in Brooklyn and a 4 story single-family home in Brooklyn, NY. While at REX, Jooyei collaborated on Museum Plaza in Louisville, KY. With ESKW/A, she successfully materialized several private residences and multi-family housings in New York.
Jooyei studied Fine Art and Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. She's a registered architect in New York.
