mi-u is a New York based multidisciplinary design studio founded by Jooyei Grace Lee, RA. 

  

mi-u is a Korean expression for the space between your eyebrows and forehead. The studio explores the design process working with existing notions; both architectural and cultural. 

Jooyei studied both Fine Art and Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. Jooyei collaborated with globally recognized firms such as SO-IL and REX for past 10 years and successfully materialized a several high-profile projects such as CTF Museum in Hong Kong (SO-IL).

 

Jooyei believes in the collective endeavors in interdisciplinary practice and makings based on the research where art and architecture can merge. She is a registered architect in New York.
